Continental, a German company, is one of the Fortune 500 companies. Its tire business (Continental) ranks fourth in the world. Since starting tire mold business with Continental in 2009, Himile has been its "best mold supplier" for 13 consecutive years and is currently the largest external mold supplier. On March 22, Continental held its first supplier conference at its headquarters in Hannover. Bureau Veritas confirmed that collaboration with the supply chain played a crucial role in the launch of the P Zero E tire in 2023, which contains more than 55% natural and recycled materials. In 2021, Pirelli took the lead in launching the world’s first Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified tire, ensuring full traceability of raw materials from forests throughout the supply chain. The company said the certification guarantees responsible management of plantations, protects biodiversity and benefits local communities and workers, thus enhancing economic sustainability.
